"Thou talk'st of nothing". -- Romeo and Juliet
Hypothesis du jour: If two wrongs don't make a right, do they make a wrong2?
Does wrong eventually BECOME right by exponential increase and thus acceptance of occurrence of said wrongs? If so, mustn't this then imply a reciprocal formula for predicting when what is "right" or "true" is or will Not be so? And so can you learn to know, attract, or predict a thing by what it is NOT? How do you measure when a thing can be described as "All", and/or "Nothing"? Is there such a thing as random chaos or just stuff that's organizationally in transition, as yet incompletely measured, or unobserved patterns not yet rolled into One?
Let's revisit local symmetry in our Twin One's: The reciprocal, indivisible relationship between the "visible one's" and the undercurrent or "absent one's" reinforces the field’s force potential and “photo-negative” space, dark matter, or mirror image geometry to contain and reveal opportunities for transforming apparent random events or chaos into aesthetic Centers or hubs of authentic purpose from which personal space, comfort, support, security, truth, and beauty come together to unfold in a previously unseen or disconnected holographic pattern of self-directed reality -- which is perpetually reinforced, reflected and intensified naturally.
Can predicting these recycling, radiating links of connection and separation by degree encourage confidence, shared creative redesign, open access to information, and make for more efficient, reproducible repurposing of what works, thus enabling your relationship between intent, choice, and goal, or resource and environment to be a more self-sustaining, satisfying fit?
And if you can predict and find your "fit" within a given "one/One" of it all, will the concept of random chaos or expectations for bad luck or helplessness in your life be eliminated?
A Tarot Example -- in broadest, most general terms: If you are selfish or untrusting in love (the realm of the Cups), you could predict on the surface that the "type" you "catch" will usually be relative to fulfilling your own focused need for pampering, enabling, assurance, etc., and thus a relationship (to roll into One) would probably NOT be sought out with another, similar Cup unless they were weaker, (in their Wands, for example) which could lead to a dominant/submissive, or even abusive "I" focused scenario that can't satisfy for long without challenge/elimination/assimilation.
From the outside you might be more attractive or even seem to be "romantic" to a Pentacle of love (Page of Pentacles or King of Wands with a Page of Pentacles need, for example) -- one who might be focused more on physical attraction, gratification, looks, trophies, stuff -- the material power of "proof" of love. But for the untrusting and selfish this proof would have to be constantly collected to fill your "Cup" while your own pressure to live up to the appearances grows. Ultimately, the more they give, (or withhold) the more you need, and insecurity increases, satisfaction decreases, or contempt for their willingness to be a "sucker" can eventually set in.
Expectations in this relationship pairing are diametrically opposed, games are played to accuse or support, desperation by degrees follows, issues intensify, commitment is lost, and a healthy, reciprocal relationship proves unsustainable -- next. But if you remain the same; doing and expecting the same way, doesn't it follow that you will attract and recreate the same conditions?
Anyway, gaining such a perspective of what a thing is or can be by gleaning information by what it is Not is to also gain a glimpse of your own "other sides" -- next to, or as seen from outside or below the surface (the "other" twin and the negative spacetime in and under the milk drop crown) Exploring this alternate view can encourage more positively directed enthusiasm for shaping future prospects while reducing fear based decisions, wasted energy, miscommunications, vicious cycles, or isolation/invalidation of true intent and purpose.
It also lowers the misplaced priority for superficial or high maintenance considerations, which only serve to continually highlight that which is Conspicuously Absent or Not in your own life, or which is reinforced and recreated through an endless game of distracting “pong” (often played with self defeating weapons of “but”, “it’s not fair”, “I don’t know”, or “just in case” disguised as scorekeeping prizes of entitlement or justifications without actually resulting in progress or achieving the heart's true desire, "x", where "x" = wholeness = One = 1,1).
Parting question from The Mad Hatter: Will you wear your Power of One "crown" with more confidence today? Or are you content to settle for being merely the negative spacetime or ripple effect in someone else's -- existing in, accepting, and thus perpetuating and recreating a "real world" where things "happen" to you? Remember: Reality is Relative.

The Mad Hatters Musings, Episode One: Part 3 of part One
This Twin One's phenomenon might also hint at the potential co-existence of some sort of plasma medium or 4th “invisible”, or dark state of matter within whose seemingly empty space the forces created by its Conspicuous Absence of, or in the wake of, relative, visible matter help simultaneously shape, move, distribute, or sustain the other three states within the environment. (Note that the 3-d Triangle/Pyramid actually "unfolds" to give birth to the cube. More on this another time).
Side Bar: Ever notice on the dollar bill the two separated Pyramids? How about the fact that the lower pyramid is 4 sided, implying the unfolding cube, or "box", and the upper "eye" pyramid is 3 -- the tetrahedron; unique in that it geometrically self-replicates, 1, 1, and inevitably predicts the Lover's, 6, hexagon)!

Cookie Crumbs for Afterthought: What happens to the shape of spacetime/matter "below" the visible surface of our milk-drop crown as a result? What about the undercurrent rings/the "buckling" or intrusion of matter/not matter into the non-milk drop spacetime? Must "invisible" spacetime also be buckling and intruding -- thus co-creating the shape, motion, and form of not just the milk-drop, but of itself?
A few steps out on the ledge: What about crappy relationships or "types" that seem to reoccur in one's life? Can a lack of awareness or intent surrounding these "milk drop crown" sub-events still set in motion, manifest, or perpetuate experience, encounters, or an environment that appears to be the very thing you try to avoid on the surface? Can they continue to recreate crappy situations that eventually seem to intensify as in a tempest in a tea pot, or finally spiral out of control? How about Not crappy drops and waves?
If this Power of One paradox is indeed a naturally predictive phenomenon in some respect then can you be the change you seek in others?
Now might be a good spacetime to ask yourself what patterns you will help to sustain or perpetuate today. Can you serve as both the bridge and the end destination to all that you desire? (Aces)Is it now possible for you to predict and thus initiate a new beginning by being intent on the end, or to backtrack, predict, and thus end at your discretion or by your creation a beginning that has become a vicious cycle?
Rather than waiting for the "out there" to change or catch up, can having this awareness of One lead to quantum leap insights and opportunities towards empowerment, fulfillment, control over destiny, or exponential development?

Greetings!
Last time we went over the basics of the Minor Cards and Court Cards. This time we'll break it down into a two or three part series and briefly review the specific suits and some of their interconnected relationships between environments, influences, and personality.
Part 1
Suits
For the sake of simplicity, the four Suits which divide and unite the Court and Minor Cards each have two self-generated, reciprocal face value "sides" that make up the one. These components are contained and revealed in the symmetry between its essential power and potential for corruption relative to The Ace, which represents both the initial and full measure of the suit's embedded duality by The Paradox of One.
For now, just know that any one suit itself can also only be described or appreciated relative to its own indivisible, organic relationships to the other three components; including all their respective self perpetuating symmetries and any hybrid relationships or conspicuous absences contained and revealed by the connections -- existing, potential, and hypothetical.
By way of an example the four Orders and their dual approach, circum-navigable natures are: Pentacle, or Means=Investment/Return; Sword, or Opportunity=Right/Vindication; Wand, or Method=Test/Validation, and Cup, or Motive=Please/Satisfaction.
Let's start by looking at the Pentacles first.
Pentacles
The Pentacles are the state of body or being within the environment. They refer to your resources, physical health and welfare, or role in society, and are all things material, tangible, manual or obvious but which may also represent symbolically or substitute for something else.
They harvest or withhold the fruits of your labor to sustain and perpetuate the stuff of LIFE and they produce results, goods, services, and pleasures that can be tested or experienced by means of the five senses, plus the gut.
Pentacles are also hunger, want, and comparative satisfaction relative to the bounty or “prize” a la mode. They grow, die, gather dust, or evolve, and are uniquely compatible with Swords for securing your slice of the American Pie, or as evidence that Wands have or have not fed Cups.
The Pentacles are also embedded in the language of any equation or reading that departs from the point of view of The Queen, particularly as regards proof of access to the Kings standards, as sustained or validated by the Knights, or according to how they fuel or fulfill expectations of their Pages.

Greetings and welcome again to Tarot with a Twist!
To review: For me Tarot is so far removed from the old fashioned fortune telling parlor trick that I feel it's important to provide an inside peek into my system which hopefully can provide some background for developing an awareness into how dynamic, practical, timely, and empowering my approach to Tarot can be for anyone, anytime. For that we are continuing with the ground floor essentials by following up our last lesson with an overview of the Minor Cards and the Courts.
The Minors
The Minor Cards are forty in count. They are organized, or packaged, according to one of the four Suits and are also known as the number, or "Pip" cards. To that end, each order is labeled 2 through 10, plus the Ace, which is actually counted at least twice: Once as the initiator, or foot of the bridge, and again as the “prize” for crossing, and thus serving as examples of both the Paradox of One and as Fibbonaci Twins(1,1).
In a nutshell, the Minor Cards are the environments in which we interact and respond. They perpetuate awareness of our shared common human experience sustained in the Court Cards by generating the steps, tests, and routines which move us along, complete an experience, and reinforce our choices, relative to the context provided by the Major Cards and in order to pave the way across the unfolding bridges to our heart’s desires.
Court Cards
The Court Cards of the Tarot are your “peeps”; they embody the whole cast of external characters, influences, rivals, and relative comparables, and are also the multi-faceted self-portraits and envisioned images that personify the voices with whom you hold inner dialogues and who make up your personality.
They are therefore the simultaneous reflections and assumptions of identity, expression, motive, status, and skill relative to how you perceive them in others, as well as how others reflect back or project them on you. They are sixteen in number and their influences are divided and united through to their four embedded orders.
They are typically referred to as: Page, Knight, King, and Queen. Each personality is reflected four ways according to its Suit, or Order (Swords, Wands, Cups, Pentacles), but their ongoing interactions are actually indivisibly and exponentially relative to each other ad-infinitum.
To this end, the Court Cards build, challenge, influence, and move across the bridges of opportunity to varying degrees and serve as dynamic, fluid links between the Major Cards and Minor Cards. Ok this is enough to take in so we'll leave it here for now.

Ok, for those of you wishing to learn more about Tarot (or at least my unique approach to it) I’m starting with an overview of the essentials with this article.
What is Tarot?
In some form or other Tarot (pronounced “ta-row”) has been around as long as a picture has been worth a thousand words and one thing has led to another. Collectively, the traditional 78 card Tarot deck includes 22 Major Arcana images, 16 Court Cards and 40 Minor Arcana cards.
Knowing the predictive and divinatory secrets of the cards you can then use them to work on rebuilding and transforming the future as you will.
But before we can explore what’s what and translate it into a 21st century discussion or lesson let’s first blow down the house of esoteric cards and any remaining assumptions about Tarot belonging only to the occult oracles of foreboding dark alleys, charlatan fortune-tellers, or flighty new agers .
The Major Arcana
The Major Cards of the Tarot provide context for the other Minor and Court Cards. They are physically 22 in count and are labeled using Roman Numerals 1-21, with the "22nd" card being The Fool, labeled O (not simply “zero” or nothing, but also representing “all”. We’ll address the mathematical concepts, scientific principles, and formulas along the way).
Anyway, The Fool is the Participant/Observer, or the Hero Self who always goes along for the ride. He is representative of the hub of trust, resolve, and potential each of us expresses or withholds relative to the other cards. Thus, The Fool maintains an implied presence throughout because it is his journey; his story-- your story, that is unfolding.
In general all of the Major Tarot Cards can be thought of as universal "desktop icons", belief-system parables, or symbolic “hub” portraits which link us to various states, rites of passage, and opportunities by degree, or by quantum leap through the pattern language of our common human experience.
Therefore no card is inherently “bad” or “good” and none should be feared. A Tower card, for example, could just as easily be the “brainstorm” or surprising breakthrough you’ve been hoping for as it is a revolutionary overthrow of an obsolete or fully saturated status-quo. Or a wake-up call against perpetual dependence by arrogant assumptions for that matter. Depends too on whether you place your Fool in the positions of the lightning, the still standing stone tower, as the recipient of some long overdue liberation, or stand in for both or either of the abdicating (or deposed) crowned heads – one of whom is resistant, the other who goes with the flow, and so on.
Another case in point is the Sun card. Others will usually point to an isolated, one-dimensional scenario of vacations and bright days ahead, but get real. Aside from the obvious shortcomings, this approach can only hold true if you perform Tarot readings only once in a blue Moon so that this “prediction” can eventually be born out.
More typically in real-life or with regular experience, your Fool may assume the position of the “vacant-victor” or joyfully liberated cowboy – whooping it up and clueless to surroundings, or temporarily absolved from stress and perhaps becoming as the “Golden Child” safely contained in his garden, unaware of any vulnerability and ignoring the cost to the sad-sack horse that supports him -- or from whom his youthful indulgence is free to drain energy like a vampire -- just so he can remain “on”.
In any given situation you may even take on the role of the horse with a burden or assumed debt to bear. What happens to the scenario if your Fool is instead one of the sunflower “fans” who thrive on, or otherwise perpetuate such exhausting, non-sustainable expectations?
Will “the source” be stuck keeping up appearances at any cost so as not to pale by comparison or dim the hopes of others? How far might he or she go to ensure a façade of eternal youth and self-centered glory? What might prompt either the ordinary horse, or the “light” to finally say “no more!”?
Consider how such a sudden “dawning” or “setting” can initiate gratitude or redemption, or open the portal to a quantum leap opportunity stemming from awareness, or by the simple response: “I was so caught up in ___ I didn’t realize…”?
Speaking of Major cards, I have some new Tarot readings available on the astrology.com website that use the Major cards exclusively. The series is called “Postcards from the Edge” and they can be used for predicting or resolving, what else -- major relationship or personal issues. These readings are a bit edgy and totally different from any I’ve done before -- the tone ranges from the humorous to the raw. Wrapping up this lesson on the Majors; the main thing to remember is that they tend to act as calling-cards or postcards; they’re like the top-fold news, the “nearest cross street”, landmark, or “major” city on the GPS you use to guide or inform a cohesive theme from the network of mundane events, blended ingredients, and multiple unfolding connections– kind of like a website portal!
When you learn to see these coming or can recognize someone else’s state, you start to automatically spot the signs which lead up to or away from them. And that’s when you really start to gain predictive power, extraordinary insight, and control over the direction of your life.
For beginners and experienced users, Major card readings or meditations can really help to cut to the chase and clarify navigational prospects towards the bigger picture or highlight exceptional opportunities in the grander scheme of things.

Connect the Dots, Part V of Episode 2 in The Mad Hatters Musings Series
Playing Ball with the All of it AllAchieving conceptual Wholeness is also defined by our Page of Swords according to The Wheel 10, like the decimal system where 10=1= One whole relative to all/none (Fool O -- all of nothing or "x"/nothing, of all or "x") where upon the act of seeking wholeness assumes it is relatively unfinished and Not yet whole or all rolled into One. (geometrically, our points and lines on the 2-d plane look very much like the Kabalistic Tree of Life at this stage, which, in 3-d solid also forms the 3 sided "eye" pyramid and the 4 sided base pyramid found on the back of a dollar bill. Hmmm… connect all dots and a pentagram/pentagon "glues" the two pyramids together. Ok, we'll have to go down this road another time).
Thus to slide into "home base", or pass "go" and collect 200$ one must leave, lap, then return to home base (1,1). So if one requires that something must change or move to reach One we must continue to play ball: to spin, divide, re-organize, shift, consolidate, transition, resist, and multiply, for example, in order to achieve, breakthrough, or judge "x", or the desired wholeness, which can never be finished actually, but is perceived as a conceptual structure to be temporarily fulfilled at 21, the World/Fool. This 22 card cycle again brings to mind the High Priestess portal II, now twinned, balanced, (by Temperance, XIV) or even squared with itself, which again evolves, revolves, or resolves into Empress triangles which presumes and thus, predicts "sides" of conflict in The Emperor's box or kite, and so on.

So let's take a break here well beyond the threshold of insanity to consider any patterns that are beginning to emerge. Can we start to predict basic routes, forms, social dynamics, and degrees of relationships, connections, fears, hopes, or missing or needed elements simply by connecting the proverbial dots between the virtual points and lines which make up the geometry inherent in a particular Tarot card?
I think, with patience and practice we can learn to superimpose or integrate the points, lines, shapes, etc. of geometry onto things like goals and pathways, for example, or people and heart's desires etc. and a dynamic map of the common human experience begins to evolve, unfold, and perpetuate itself, enabling certain types of prediction to be made.
Connecting the dots also gives us the ability to synchronize, reflect, or manipulate the unfolding properties, patterns, entanglements, relationships, milestones, potential, etc. that make up not just the visible shape of things to come, but allows us to peek beyond what is immediately observable into that which is conspicuously absent such as hidden motivations, unconsidered or missing elements, challenges, secret attractions, or fears. Once you begin to perceive the map, you can even take the Fool's more direct Magician's route, thus effectively making a quantum leap towards your desired destination while reducing superfluous, unnecessary, or redundant steps, or breaking vicious cycles.
So embrace the power of The Magician if you will, or Not. Either way, purposefully co-creating, forming and participating in the reality you choose to observe and thus shape is as simple as starting with One, one, two, three…
Connect the Dots, Part IV of Episode 2 in The Mad Hatters Musings Series
The DISCO Ball of LifeTo this point these forms/chords/ paradox's etc. naturally complete an octave at the portal of Justice, VIII, (or XI) to bond in a 3-dimensional shape of the Hexagon when formed by 6 around one, in the gateway to The Lovers, VI. This can self produce a dual octahedron by IV,IV (Emperor cubed-(all his aces)(is Tower, XVI far behind?) or generate the self dual, or mirrored inverse symmetrical reciprocal tetrahedron of the Empress -- A 3-d triangle with 4 faces, or shared points, and 6 vertices that self-recreates to become 6 visible faces, 2 shared faces, (hexagon to octagon) 5 points (pentagram), and 9 vertices (uniting the paradox of three triangular faces of the Empress in Life-3/tetrahedron, Lover-6/self-dual tetrahedron-triangles, and integrated Self-9 (Hermit/the Empress/Emperor Prism of lesser prisms (Emperor through Justice, and forming “absent” prism -- unites 4 and 3 by 1 and 8 and formed by 3d Hierophant born of 3,4 as (5 tetras-or 3 prism “peaces” of pi = spherical wholeness, =Wheel, X) 3,6, 9 as the “sum” of, her common factor, or by adding Herself to Herself.
Add the 9th point (in the Hermit) and the Euler line emerges to bring forth 2 tetra stellations (or a 6 around , or 7 mirror of, 14), or polar opposites- (High Priestess, again) each emerging on a “side” of 12 pentas of 60 shared tetras (pentagrams), 10 hemispheric hubs (which define the spirals), each stellation is a triangle/tetra taken from a greater pentagram within the pentagon which first emerged 2-d in Hierophant (12 =3?). Each pentagon point connected to all others form a five pointed star of intersecting triangles/tetras/prisms that “fill” or also “open”/expand, or collapse to form lesser stellations, ad-infinum! This also enables the 5 to bear 6—leaving a distance allowance (co-creating negative space) that sets the pace/angle for its simultaneously resulting golden spiral.
These patterns underlie the entirety of the Golden sphere with 9 points that unfold to co-create what I, naturally, call my “Dodeca-Icosa-Stellated-Circumsphered-Octapentatetrahedron”, or DISCO ball of life concept, which might look physically something like an icosododecahedron, something like a Kepler, or like a Hoberman Sphere that's been sort of fleshed out as in a pentakisdodecahedron, but with gravitational, prismatic stellations. Add to this radial projections, hypersphere's within sphere's, and Mobius/Spiro graph arcs or orbits and the insanity is complete.
This complicated form is ultimately, I believe, a possible explanation for experiencing isolated bits of chaos out of context from the big pictures; the organic centers, natural holographic unfolding and collapsible form, perspective, relationships, sound, sense, and motion embedded in all life, at all levels simultaneously.
In the big picture the whole Whole could potentially bio-mimic, or contain and reveal perceivable symmetries and harmonies in a unified "shape" and movement towards Wholeness. This grand architectural diffusion could then connect, predict, and reflect the embedded Oneness/paradox at the quantum level relative to the mundane, relative to the expanding Universe itself, relative to the quantum. Or, as above, so below, as above/one of many, many of one, of many, ad-infinitum.

Can you step out of the box without perpetuating the existence of the box? In a 2-d environment the perspective is one sided but assumes the other; it's "paradox". So when considering the flip side of the square, things either are, or are not; thus concepts of good, evil, black and white, in/out, with/against, or other mutually exclusive, opposing, relative perspectives and possessives begin to gather a pong-like or tug of war momentum again.
Motion and shape are also restricted in the 2-d Emperor Four; limited to sequential movement around the points at the perimeter while underlying threats as well as all potential progress or partitioning exist backed into each corner (responses often restricted to the subjective/defensive/offensive, or "mine”, “yours”, “ours”, or “theirs”, "right", "wrong", or similar). In response the Foolish O Chariot VII can initiate Death, XIII (to transform IV, V, II etc.), and departs from the 2-d plane but remains relative to the point of the original form.
Motion and shape are also restricted in the 2-d Emperor Four; limited to sequential movement around the points at the perimeter while underlying threats as well as all potential progress or partitioning exist backed into each corner (responses often restricted to the subjective/defensive/offensive, or "mine”, “yours”, “ours”, or “theirs”, "right", "wrong", or similar). The Empress too can respond to IV, VII, etc. and quantum slide to Death so that either way the four 2-d points become three around one to form the three sided, 3-d tetrahedron, the simplest freestanding, stable, self sustaining architectural form that has the unique ability to self-produce, or evolve as a System, and which, because it's three sides co-create the base, 4, also has the properties to land us at VI, the Lovers!
Are we moving forward or back? Or are we beginning to leap between? Maybe we've just gone over the Fool's edge?
Ok, back to Square One (IV). Now start connecting all 4 points to each other and with six lines drawn, a cross section (by the Ace of Swords 1/11), or "Emperor's Kite" of conflict, or "sides" and quadrants emerge. (Inferring the High Priestess power again when 2 lines inevitably become 4 lines by one crossing the other, resulting in 4 dots and one shared point in Hierophant V, "+", co-creating 7 embedded squares in the Emperor).
This resistance is also formed from High Priestess' diametric opposition "x", or four Empress Triangles in the Emperor (that "congregate" as a shared point in Hierophant, V to become 8 contained and revealed triangles -- not to mention the implied relationships to Roman Ten X -- a whole one, divided/partitioned? Fairly screams out for Chariot or Lovers, for example, to make a Foolish or Magicians move!)
Anyway, back to "x" in the box. Together as four points around one they also form the 3-d four faced pyramid -- technically creating eight lines of tension, standoff, or connection that expose the need for perspective, natural order, rules, or hierarchical rank, groupings, leadership, alliances, and organization as found by four around one in the 2-d V Hierophant .
This Emperor's Kite is also revealed as a network Power Law in the pentagon of the Hierophant, and acts as a hub or bridge for the Page to transition into the Knight at the Minor Fives, or change course at the Hanged Man, XII, (a personal portal tri-braided into the Aces for testing The Fools, o Strength, 11/8).
Taking the form of a 3-d four sided pyramid (octahedron) its mirror reflection now gives birth to the 3-d cube, and this Four also reinforces the alternate shape-shifting potential when Square One was cross sectioned halfway between the points by the High Priestess to create multiple boxes as above (four smaller squares creating two medium rectangles creating one larger square introducing us to a sense of proportion, ratio, and scale providing us with options and theories that can divide, conquer, multiply and add, just for starters, but that only resolve into redundancy, revolution, or mistrust. Thus the cross section by way of the implied, embedded Empress Triangles are the inevitable systemic resolution to manipulating spacetime in the Emperor's Kite towards some sustainable progress, perspective, and evolving hierarchy.
Ok, I don't know about you but I can practically feel the potential for chaos building and so not only do we gravitate and congregate naturally towards the Hierophant V again to take charge and make sense of it all but this 3/4 Empress/Emperor combo hints at the coming Chariot's rebellious VII, both of which also form a Lovers VI origami sandwich portal. (BTW, at this point The Knight also seeks to identify himself away from the all embedded in the Hierophant by validation IN the portal of the Hierophant (via the “faceting” of 6 by 7’s passed through public portal of The Chariot and by “capture” or bestowal of the Queen of Wands 8 overlapping Empress triangles hidden within the structure of the Emperor’s Kite System. (Escape the madness now, while you can!)

Connect the Dots, Part II of Episode 2 in The Mad Hatters Musings Series
Two, or Three to TangoThe Magician's concept of two in this case is either as two whole Ones, or it can co-create A THIRD ENTITY by and relative to the individual "I's", or Twins, which now exist at the threshold of the High Priestess (Roman numeral II).
This third entity, or "chord"/"dis-chord" also assumes its own flip side which enables its hidden potential to be not only "squared" but manipulated parallel and perpendicular to any other point or points. When plotted as a "T" on a plane this form already predicts at least four potential points connecting its two perpendicular lines, where the common, intersecting, or Hybrid point divides one line into two halves (or unites two lines by one shared point), and thus teases us not just with the embedded concept of the Lovers, VI, but with the possible segmentation for a Golden ratio (phi), or "note".
In the interest of rolling everything into One it is only natural then that we connect the point at the base of the "T" to each of the outside points at the top. Now we've just created an equally bisected Triangle that actually makes up Three triangles and reinforcing the Lovers Third entity idea -- the two smaller embedded and the one larger made by the two smaller. (1 + 1 = 3 = 1/One)
Which triangle came first? Is there ever a truly singular One that doesn't imply the Other?
This also suggests the infinite potential for unfolding pattern and self perpetuating form within form and is at the heart of the real "Magic". It's also why I consider the High Priestess one of the most accessible quantum leap portals for achieving self directed transformation.
Three Times a Lady
Anyway, geometrically we now have our first stable, closed form, or accord, which I call the Empress' Triangle, (Roman numeral III) formed by three Magician points all connected to each other and born of the Ace of Cups to suggest High Priestess embedded relationships/connections. Linguistically, the points "I" and "You" now contain the potential to become "Us", reinforcing the natural grouping where 1 + 1 = ethereal 3 = One, or "me and you equal we".
As WE settles into the orbital groove of Three the potential for introducing new conflict, contradiction, and order arises when a hierarchy naturally develops and "WE", Spiro-graphically preaching to the choir, becomes aware of its own paradox, Not We, and begins to exile, interfere, regroup, partition, twist, consolidate, or promote One over others, or two around/under/over one, like a Mobius Pretzel. A simple example can be seen in identifying, excluding, or grouping the three according to gender, characteristics, role, type, etc. Even the language begins to change to include the Possessive "mine"/"yours"/"not mine"/"theirs"/etc. to project a fourth relative potential (similarities/differences )by the flip side paradox.
When a Triangle or grouping is made up of three "I's" that agree on being One "We" the tendency is to look outward or gravitate towards other, similar One's. These relationships, or orbits can intersect to form a six pointed triangle, (Lovers, VI/hexagram) or they can share a base resulting in the kite (potential comingling of Empress/Emperor (3-d tetrahedron self-dual). But when vocabulary approaches "Us/Them" The Magician has inevitably predicted the High Priestess parallel/perpendicular territorial, guarded, or team evolution of Four (IV), which within its open "face" 2-d square (made up of four Magician points on a plane connected by four High Priestess lines) creates "the box" and no matter how the Magician/Page of Swords/Ace of Swords divides it up, it always ends up as a box/not box.

Or, An Overview of How to Harness the Power of One to Affect Transformation and Shape Your Universe One isn't always the loneliest number
Hypothesis du jour: Can we better understand and thus transform our lives and environments according to the geometric "shapes" that numbers describe? Can we then identify evolutionary pathways and revolutionary, quantum shortcuts to reach a desired form or destination? Are the Roman Numerals of the Major Arcana simply a tally? Or a subtle Art? Can they help to highlight and predict opportunities cycles/experience by embedding concepts, relationships, and assumptions in their very lines? Are the only real "wild cards" of form the free standing I, II, III's?
Ultimately, is there also embedded within the Tarot a set of natural, unfolding formulas, connections, systems, and relationships that linked as a whole can by degree enable us to gain insight, predict, or alter the course of a our specific human experience or heart's desire -- without relying on a traditional "reading" per, se?
Let's explore
The idea of initiating some mutual co-creation or reciprocal symmetry is a Paradox of One concept that lives in the twilight zone of The Magician card (Roman numeral I); a participant/observer concept that actually assumes two of One and which I have coined The Fibonacci Twins (1,1). This whimsical term describes the very real simultaneous quantum spacetime existence of both the particle and wave; identifying the thing it's observed to be relative to its unfulfilled alternative potential, or the conspicuous absence of what it is NOT. (Embodied by the High Priestess, II)
Representing the primal forces and natural cycles which co-create and link by degrees all life on Earth (and beyond), One is all about the power of interdependent relationships relative to time-space in all spheres simultaneously--from the quantum to the mundane to the galactic.
It presents a holographic portrait of the "I" as indivisible interconnections which are knowable and traceable in the unfolding process and reciprocal patterns which evolve through Conspicuous Absence of what One is not, or by defining One by the Other to predict a third, or future state, a potential evolutionary hybrid, or a common denominator.
Sound confusing already? Just remember you can't have One without the other One because they, in essence, are the same One representing a legitimate degree of wholeness relative to The Fool, O (not zero, look carefully at its Roman Numeral position and scale relative to other cards); the two one's are just different perspectives used to define, communicate, or reinforce the identity of the other -- like Fred-and-Ginger. (1 +1 =I)
Let's start by making The Magician a singular point/dot from your perspective (Ace of Wands 1/11) inside our Fool, O sphere paradox of all/nothing of all. Initial interaction projected between the Magician and another sets in motion a potential relative relationship and can be best imagined now as two Points (1, 1) on a plane in spacetime where one point is linguistically perceived from the "I" truth (Page of Swords) point of view and the second point as the "other", "not I", or "you".
Side Dish: The Page of Swords serves in mainly identifying the self first and last according to mutable, branching, or even overflowing “sides” that either are "x" or not "x". He, or she operates relative to “the box” (IV) to feel Power, to Share, Order, and/or Love via seeking and capturing the Aces in the Magician, High Priestess, Empress, and Emperor, and he is always relative to The Fool/Hanged Man. He can also be experienced in the Minor 1-4's. As a Page, he is first and foremost a Cup, so our P of S can also be imagined as a Cup of Swords.
Again, the identity of the "I" is reinforced or reflected by the conspicuous absence of what it is because of what it is NOT. BUT, "you" from the perspective of the "other" must also be "I" -- and so the "Foolish" Twins are well met in a virtual vacuum as though two sides of one coin (Ace of Pentacles 1/11). A line MUST be drawn!
Ok, so now we have two equal Ones that can respond or be connected relatively only by one line, or "tether". So which is it now? "I"? Or is one both a dot and a shared line with the other one "I"? To leave it here would result in a state of perpetual tug of war or "pong" directed between is/is not, will/will not. But what happens if we make another "copy" of One at this stage? Now it's two of one's again, and so we have two lines and four points, and the High Priestess portal of opposing and converging relativity jumps into the discussion.
Our Two one's can remain parallel forever without having to eliminate one or the other, or they can interact and link 2 more lines to connect in "standoff" mode as the one "box". Or they can conflict perpendicularly to merge, share, and co-create a third point. Now a hybrid potential exists where 1,1 initiates the manifestations of Two in The High Priestess "T" where the more flexible terms of “me” and/or/relative to “you” are now able to be conceptualized, and where 2 equals, for now, both 1 (2 points connected by a line) and 2 (two open lines connected by one point, which actually assumes two branches by 3 points when our One tug of war rope bends. This also lives in our Roman Numeral V and suggests a tether to the Hierophant, V rank and order). ("copy" that -- so we have two strings connected at a shared point and we've got the makings of a chromosome, or Roman Numeral X, for example. Merge the open ends together and we've got a wave, note, infinity twist etc. Connect them at the ends without fusing so two original strings are now sharing 3 points, and we have a chord. Keep the original end points and connect them by adding 2 new strings on either "side" and we've got the strands and bases of a double helix DNA segment, but I digress-- it's easy for one to get carried away by the whole point/line, particle/wave paradox of one).

The Mad Hatters Musings Episode One: Part Two of Part One
Like Fibonacci Twins (1, 1) and physics double-slit experiment where One exists simultaneously as both the wave AND the particle, One is a paradox relative to the participant/observer, and in the following examples predicts a symmetrical pattern or echo occurrence much as high and low “C” set and complete One octave, we start at "home base" to return to "home base", or one side of one coin assumes the other. (If only scientists would try a 3 slot experiment -- it could change everything!)Anyway, our “Twin One’s”, "Lovers", or “Hero Twins”, (a recurring theme found in way too many creation mythologies to be mere "CO-incidence"), are also naturally occurring markers of symmetry or cyclical initiation and completion in Liquid, one of the 3 states of matter (matter/ 3 = One), and as visible in the milk drop crown pair of "i,i;s"-- setting perhaps its initial parameters, energy, direction, intensity, and max boundaries/distribution. Note how the crown "gem" balls are released to align regardless of the state of the stalk. (A triplet is formed in diametric opposition but we're not going there now). These conjoined Twins also seem to occur at the climactic stress or "crest" of the airfoil wake (which moves through alternating structure of vortices that appear to be similar to the pattern of interference formed by the 2-slit experiment), and is seen again setting up an unfolding pattern of harmony and diffusion in the snowflake crystal, and on a larger scale in dorsiventrality; as in a pair of wings, feet, eyes, etc. (Still working on how to upload more photos)
Meanwhile, Mad Hatter Wonders: What do the Twins look like before (which would be an ending of something else), at the initiation of, or during a Rogue Wave? How about a Cosmic Storm, whose 22 year complete cycle is made up of one 11 year cycle "up", and another 11 year cycle reinforcing "up" by going "back", where year 1 is a joint point of departure and arrival, and year 11 marks a shared point of arrival and return? (1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 11, 12, 13…22 etc.) Are there other embedded cycles? Or is the 22 year cycle an embedded cycle of something "greater"? What can we learn about by encountering or anticipating these twins?
Can we now superimpose these "markers" of local symmetry or cycles over relationships and experience as in the Lovers card, the Sun, (often pictured with twins in the garden), even the Devil? How about the portal thresholds of the High Priestess, The Hierophant, Justice, or even the Chariot at the reigns of twin contradictions? Can these too help to predict limits, organization, expectations, behavior, rebellion, desire, etc.? Or can they actually identify or define when an event, encounter, or experience has achieved localized "wholeness" and has initiated its next phase of integration by mirroring, highlighting, or reiterating it? What about the symmetries within the human body, dna, galaxies, weather, tides, geography, architecture, or the behavior of cells, etc.?

The Mad Hatters Musings Episode One: The Paradox of One

Part 1: Tempest in a Tea Cup, or, Can One wear a crown of Two?
Welcome to the party! Here we'll explore some of my efforts to uncover more conceptual connections, relationships, and systems surrounding Tarot, prediction, and generally, our place in this neck of the universe.
Appetizer du jour: Is One the "smallest" or "greatest" number? Is it possible that One always implies BOTH the beginning one, and thus the full circle end "whole" One of it all? If not, why do we tend to work backward from other numbers in order to roll whatever we can into One? Even each other. Why does the Ace count as 1 and/or 11 in a game of cards? Is 11 just another way of ending the cycle of 1? If we know One can we predict other one's, and vice versa? I'm not talking numerological tallies here. In fact, with Tarot, as in all life and development, each state of being or "Self-Portrait" follows, enfolds, embeds, and reinforces or intensifies the others without breaking structure from the state(s) before. And so it is with one to One.
Food for thought: Which came first; the chicken or the egg? What if there simply is no singular center point or linear “first” and both the chicken and the egg co-evolved simultaneously--each as one side of one coin, or in response to a reciprocal or hybrid mutation in one chromosome in the so called “junk” DNA of space-time?
It might be time to reconsider conventional meanings and laws of physics associated with the Power of One -- to open up to the possibility that there simply is no One without implying the Other. (Here 1 implies 2 as duality, which naturally predicts potential 1=3rd hybrid or “triangle” unit of One, and 1=0, where 1 is relative to One full of nothing or nothing of One, i.e. The Fool).

The Scientific Method is in, Xanax is out, Xena is always in on the fringe, Kaku is definitely in, and the unusual suspects get a hybrid facelift. Shirley’s role is revisited, Anne is spelled with an “e”, of course, and Jane gets much overdue credit for the Good-of-all.
Napoleon goes “unplugged” and gets a new rap, and Christ. Columbus is rediscovered along with Chichen Itza's alieNation (en route by Inquisition from Havana through Maria’s treasured remains) intriguing us again by Red Beards arrival and the promised return of a “new do”-- a.k.a the white haired helmet head; Kukulkan.
Goths, Barbarians and Moors, oh my! Other ancient Red Heads meet Siberian huskies and Great Caesars Ghost in China dusting off politically correct or holy origins in the decent of man and revealing a “what’s Mayan is Your’n” indigenous plaid interlink that leaves DNA laughing while you’re away. Retracing baby steps erase old linear tracks of isolated pure thought in human evolution and migration between South, East, North, Middle and West to expose Central new axis patterns which reveal us all to be relative mutts at heart. “Zowie”!

What does it all mean for 2012? By making ready for our close up, an apocalypse of the occult ultimately defines this Katun to unite the arts and sciences by happy surprise, shared information, mutual imitation, and bio-mimicry to produce a radically simple reinterpretation that provides a second and third chance all around.
So reuse and repurpose what you’ve got, duct-tape it, or conjure your own Patronus again to make it work -- and lighten up or paint it black, for Stones still roll where anachronisms and oxy-morons meet to naturally reveal The Third Man of enduring truth by irony—opening access by the next generation to our own small world after all.
But remember, to Observe is to Participate, and like a Busby Berkeley show stopper in the musical geometry of a living kaleidoscope, the self-generating, unfolding choreography and recycling patterns are all about strength and beauty in numbers, relative perspective, reflected space-time symmetry, and staying true to a meaningful vision. And of course, having a big enough stage (or ancient stone calendar) so that otherwise seemingly incremental progress, negative space, or simple/chaotic movements by the many carry off the multi layered synchronicity of such flowering splendor as to affect visible glory.

Part 3
Also to come; historians are hot, Fools rule, geeks make it hip to be triangular, math is relative and hunters of ghosts and graves unmask old gods with new monsters, (and vice versa). Hyphenated and archeological sciences grow cooler and sexier over time--like Indiana Jones, as impossible laws are broken by their own paradox or when choosing “none of the above”, and a union of seemingly diverse fields saves the day as the new super heroes rock an increasingly empirically tested world.
Speaking of which, Super ‘Atoms’ behave ant-like and applaud as one according to the conduct and proportions of crowd dynamics. Black and white holes are mutually co-created; compact fluorescents reveal high EMF’s and get the LED out while the paranormal goes main-stream, or "new school". This as “Junk DNA”, blood relatives, rogue waves, cosmic storms, and moon matters teach by conspicuous absence how to predict and protect alternate systems or other sides while helping to accelerate a revival of zest in quest for first contact with the un-tethered connections.
Meanwhile, Newton’s apple has worms, Einstein missed a spot, and Fred and Ginger take a quantum leap out of a petrified forest to be named as the reigning Fibonacci Twins of the waveparticle 3-slit dance.
Old dogs learn new tricks, upgraded toys go cruising in the mystery machine back to classic destinations and sources -- with a Mobius twist, and a common interest comparative historical approach to upcoming challenges exponentially redirects the march of future technological developments as if by: “One word Ben: Recycled-Alloy-Plastics-and-biodegradable-diapers”.

Part 2
Integrated Sun worshippers, small intersecting perspectives, and cartwheel harlequin lines begin to bridge the gap for getting out of the high maintenance shadows into intensifying energy centers. Friendly eco-techs turn trash to treasure and repurpose the overlooked for a more self-sustaining, living infrastructure that reveal re-circulating golden opportunities.
An outsider of so-called questionable or humble parentage or uncertain property paves the way to a new deal or a big idea that’s been a long time coming, but this pioneer, like the “first pancake” also becomes the scapegoat or martyr and is a self sacrifice to the cause—redeemed by his/her role as gate crasher upon reflection, or against the divider, whom history perpetually needs to revile in order to galvanize followers like liquid silver, or against a gathering stink by a lowering tide.
The Black Blizzard of Oz begins to blow again as efficient or communal circulation is ignored to “get it while you can”—but if a King of Siam takes the puzzlement seriously its’ apparent swan song becomes a white light beacon of new practice and regeneration to address another environment of wet waste and dry hunger.
Standing, finally, for something, (rather than falling for anything), rebels do their homework in search of First Hand Proof to go their own way against taking the overprotected, over-processed, overmedicated trickle down word to just do it for themselves -- as if in a Missouri Revolt of the People; one that infiltrates pop culture through a resounding cry of “show me”!
But like a Close Encounter out of a garden somewhere near insanity, the new order doesn’t yet recognize what it is they’re onto or driven to sculpt out of the compost mess, but the very process of striving to get over the rainbow puts us all on the yellow brick road to realizing something greater.

Hypothesis du jour: If a Maya Prophesy fell in the woods and no one was there to hear it, would it make a sound? Prophesy, like the rise and fall of hemlines in time-space, is relative, but take it as you will, or Not. I always find that it tastes better with a grain of salt, or with a dash of tongue in cheek. So without further ado, here’s a fresh scoop of Prophesy a la mode.
Wicked wit and compassion hold hands and fears are faced with elegant repurposing of classic curves to lead the exiles like colonists into a fashionable Revolution: One which ruffles the sterile lines of sleek mid centuries and pop-mods with Elizabethan collars, applied feathers, and sparkles -- as if, “Pouf”-- right out of Genie’s bottle.
Renaissance pixies in corset vests and Hepburn slacks trade epithets for epaulets like Joan of Arc, while those well connected by long ropes, and pearly bling to the social fringes flap or slink along unnoticed and swing in big as if by some psychedelic tutu chandelier.
Red heads are big, flower-power by the “Wi-ppies” and other wireless “brownies” return old bombshells to blonds and inspire a big bang liberation, or a tipping of the hourglass institutions (at full saturation) away from an endless game of Pong against its own inevitable obsolescence. All this while hopping Ann Margret-like to Technicolor hybrid beats of harmony from discord-- fused in the organic polyester fabric of space-time like Ragtime Rap to Reggae.
Meanwhile, fantasy is reclaimed with reckless abandon, glamour is redefined all around, and old icons make a return-- not a comeback— as if dizzy tourists on a pulp fiction safari to familiar but reinvented haunts. Others arrive at the swanky cocktail party in droves; drawn into the lounge by a re-visioning of the Bossa-Nova (or virtually by Robert Osborne).
Striped awnings, front porches, and lemonade are in. Quick fixes, vinyl siding, and gift cards are out, garden jewelry, urban tree huggers, and hybrid projects are in. Gaping Mc Mansions are way out, and faster than a passé granite countertop installs in a flop, “The New Jan Brady” flips her funkadelic wig to return to her roots—learning to fly on her own, unencumbered by the middle or the high hats, and crowning Green the New Pink in the process.
